Oh hey! Welcome to PALLZ’s privacy policy, we’re glad you’re here. We know these can be the most confusing and boring things to read but rest assured we’ve tried to make it as easy as possible to understand. At PALLZ, we care about you and want you to know exactly what data we collect.

1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy applies to the PALLZ app, website and associated events, including hosted events and partner events promoted via PALLZ services.
To make it easy, refer to all these as our “services” as the policy continues.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
PALLZ is all about helping you connect with like-minded people to find your ultimate pallz. However, to do so, we do require some details about you. In addition to your basic profile data, we collect data on how you use our service, including login activity. We may receive information from third parties, like when you sign in via Facebook, Google, or Apple or sync details from another platform. Please see below for a further breakdown.
a) Profile information includes: Name, Gender, Star Sign, Location, Email Address, Phone Number, Interests, Profile Photos, Age, Gender Identity, Gender Preference, Events You Attend.
b) Geo-location: In order for us to find pallz near you, we store and use your location to suggest possible matches in your desired perimeter.
c) Subscription or event purchases: Details regarding your purchases, the purchase date and price are kept for tax purposes. Any purchases you make directly through our services provides us with your debit or credit card information.
d) Our partners: If you are purchasing a ticket to an event one of our partners is hosting, your data may be shared with them including your name and email address so they may contact you about your attendance. Opt-outs from their database will always be available. Any links clicked on the events section that takes you to an external page not included in our Services is not accounted for in this Privacy Policy. Please refer to theirs for how they use and store your data.
e) Marketing: To learn further about how we can make our Services more to your liking, we may send you surveys. If you choose to participate, you’re agreeing to provide your information with us.
f) Data automatically and/or generated collected: We may receive data from any interactions you have with ads on third-party websites/websites/apps – please refer to our cookie policy to learn more.
3. WHY WE COLLECT & HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
Our goal will always be to ensure PALLZ operates and improves to suit our users. This includes connecting users based on shared interests, ensuring safety, preventing fraudulent activity, facilitating event registrations and ticket purchases, and complying with legal obligations.
To do so, we require the data listed in Section 2.
4. SHARING YOUR DATA
We can ensure you we’ll never sell your data. In line with this Privacy Policy, we may share your data with:
a) Other members: You share data with other members when you agree to set up a PALLZ profile.
b) Business/Service partners: We share data with trusted vendors and partners who assist in running, promoting, and enhancing our service. They support us with hosting and maintenance, analytics, customer support, marketing, advertising, payment processing, legal compliance, and security management.
c) Event partners: If you are purchasing a ticket to an event one of our partners is hosting, your data may be shared with them including your name and email address so they may contact you about your attendance. Opt-outs from their database will always be available.
d) Advertising partners: We may display advertisements for third-party products and services on our platform and promote our own services on external websites and apps. To make these ads more relevant, we may share certain information with advertising partners or allow them to collect data through technologies like cookies and SDKs. Some partners also help us convert details like your email, advertising ID, or phone number into a non-identifiable format, which can then be used to either exclude you from marketing campaigns or target ads to audiences with similar interests, preferences, or app usage.
e) Law enforcement: We may share your data when necessary to: (i) comply with legal obligations, such as court orders, subpoenas, search warrants, or government and law enforcement investigations; (ii) aid in preventing or detecting criminal activity; (iii) ensure the safety of individuals; and (iv) establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
5. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY
PALLZ stores user data securely and implements safeguards to prevent unauthorised access. However, no online platform is 100% secure, and users should take precautions with the personal information they provide. On the off chance of a data breach or leak, you will be notified as soon as possible.
6. YOUR RIGHTS
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to:
a) Access, correct, or delete your data
b) Opt-out of marketing communications
c) Withdraw consent for certain data processing

Please note that we may decline requests if we are unable to verify your identity, if the request is unlawful or invalid, or if fulfilling it would compromise trade secrets, intellectual property, or the privacy and rights of others.
7. RETAINING YOUR DATA
We retain user data as long as necessary for platform operation and legal compliance. If you delete your account, some data may be retained for legal or security reasons. If you delete your account and would like to know what data is being held, we invite you to email hello@meetpallz.com to learn more.
8. UNDERAGE PRIVACY
Our platform is exclusively for individuals aged 18 and older. Users under 18 are not allowed to access our service. If you believe someone under 18 is using the platform, please report it using our in-app reporting feature.
9. UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This policy may be updated over time as we continue to improve our services and ensure our data practices remain transparent and up-to-date. If any significant changes are made, we will notify you in advance so you have time to review them. Your continued use of our platform after these updates take effect means you accept the revised policy.
